SHOW JUMPING CLASSIC QUALIFER

The Area 1 Qualifier for the IPC Show Jumping Classic qualifier takes place on Saturday 26th July in Boswell Equestrian, commencing at 11 a.m. with the Classic Starter.  The ultimate award of a week's training in McKee Barracks in the Springtime, all expenses paid, is a fantastic opportunity for our older members.  Previous winners of this bursary started in the Classic Starter class so definitely a competition for your calendar!!  See the FLYER HERE for full details of all classes.

The Bray Hunt Branch is a very active branch of the Irish Pony Club. We currently have about 100 members, mostly from the north Wicklow and south Dublin areas.

The Irish Pony Club is the main equestrian organisation for providing training in all disciplines of equestrian activities in the Country. There are sixty-two branches spread throughout the country. There are almost 4,000 members between six and  twenty-three.

We run activities to suit both the competitive member and non-competitive member.

The objectives of the Irish Pony Club are the same today as they were when the Pony Club was first established and they are as follows:

  • To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with ponies and riding.

  • To give instruction in riding and horsemanship and to educate members to look after and to take proper care of their animals.

  • To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, and to create strength of character and self discipline.
