The Bray Hunt Branch is a very active branch of the Irish Pony Club. We currently have about 100 members, mostly from the north Wicklow and south Dublin areas.

The Irish Pony Club providwa training in all disciplines of equestrian activities in the Country. There are sixty branches spread throughout the country. There are approx. 3,500 members aged up to twenty-three.

We run activities to suit both the competitive member and non-competitive member.

The objectives of the Irish Pony Club are the same today as they were when the Pony Club was first established and they are as follows:

  • To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with ponies and riding.

  • To give instruction in riding and horsemanship and to educate members to look after and to take proper care of their animals.

  • To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, and to create strength of character and self discipline.
